Enjoy the experience jomo - I made it out for a short run but even at 1115hrs it was below freezing and slippery.

Rather chuffed with a 2:44:59 to get another sub 2:45 in the bank. A rather nervous wait for official chip time as my watch said 2:45:01, but couldn't remember exactly when I stopped it.

The depth of talent in Valencia Marathon is nuts - that time was just good enough for 2170th, from circa 22500 finishers. London had 'only' 961 sub 2:45 in 2023.

Magic Damo. That's a fantastic run, very nicely judged :-) I've just watched the TV coverage, it looks like a great event.

28km for me today, not quite frosty but my hands were still bloody cold by the end, even with gloves on. That cold clammy damp air that sucks heat out of you...but I was lucky to avoid the snow so not really complaining. There's heaps of it 20 miles in each direction, just as well I didn't run too far! It's the 19 week mark for me so well on schedule.

Great work Damo - congrats. I had a similar time - managed to get around in 2:41:54. Started out aiming for a sub 2:45 but managed a neg split in the end.

I would highly recommend València. It’s a super flat course and, as Damo said, it’s a really stacked field. Easy to find people to run with.

Well done guys! Excellent results.

You were fortunate jda. I got up to a covering of snow that was too deep to run on - no idea what was underneath, even walking the dog was dodgy, then we had fog which was soon joined by rain. This week may well be a cut back for me.

Fantastic Jomo!
You both seem to have fantastic half to full conversions even if the half’s aren’t fully representative. Top stuff!
