Well done Elio.

Just checking in from yesterday. Wasn’t sure what state I would be in and how my legs would react. Decided to go out with same pace structure as Mancs. Had timing issues with Garmin and water ingress for mile manual timing. Felt hard after mile 14 and required real focus. Crowds were unreal, probably loudest and biggest crowds at London. Felt sick from mile 23 but locked on to a pace and forced it home. Managed a 17 sec improvement! Very unexpected and delighted. London buses and all that. Got pretty hammered last night!

That's awesome whiteflash, I went for a jog yesterday - my first since Mancs - and it was slow and difficult. Can't imagine racing properly for a while!

Did you just do your first sub-3 at Manchester, and then knock out a quicker one just two-weeks later Whiteflash? That's an impressive feat!

Yes one week. I was vaguely considering entering both if there was a bigger gap (it's been up to 3 weeks in the past), but it's the same next year too. No way I could run them both anything close to hard.

It’s now eight days on from Manchester, and I haven’t even regained the ability perform simple mental arithmetic ;-)
