Assuming a typo for weather, it was cool and cloudy, even had a spot of drizzle at one point. Pretty much perfect for me, just a hint of a breeze but with such a big event plenty of people to hide behind and it was tailwind for the last third once we were spread out and desperate

Good running as ever. Well done Lee super quick. Nice ones for JDA, Gus and Fergus too.
I finally conquered it and claimed a 2.57. Weather was perfect. I realised the Garmin was out by mile 4 or 5 and it steadily got worse. I had consistent pace and although felt quite sick from mile 23, managed to maintain without a deterioration.
I think i can probably go 2 minutes quicker in similar ideal conditions but for the moment Iām enjoying the it starts with a 2 feeling!
