Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

600's and 1200's are good distances to race as training for a big 800 or 1500m race.

Thanks Alan.

600 as training was the plan but too much risk for little reward due to ankle injury which is now a niggle.

The 1500m is first unfortunately as I would like to race 800m and use the 1500m as more of a speed training session.

I take it they are straigh finals and no heats.

Totally agree about the 800 first being better. you need to be that bit quicker and able to react to any movement if you properly in a race, then in the 1500 you would have been able to use tactics and your endurance to get you through it.
