Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

My biggish pan does 4 portions

I find the soup maker is a bit smaller even than that, so don’t bother….

I’ve tried to use it often, but I always get the overfull beep of doom.

Also, can we talk stock cubes

How many would anyone use? Is there a ratio?

My soups go from “bit bland, add another” to “oh no too salty!”

Help!

Sausage casserole soup.

All the veg left at the bottom of the slow cooker after we’d eaten the sausages, some extra water, heated up and whizzed with the blender.
It’s lush

What’s the best way to increase protein in your soup?
Had a lovely soup today using left over garlicky cabbage with roasted pumpkin
Then randomly added roasted pepper paste and smoked paprika

Was yummy and I had it for lunch and tea! But it occurred to me that I may have had plenty of veg but no protein!

About This Thread

It’s got to that time of the year when soup is king!

Last winter I was wfh and happily heated up soup knowing that no one would know if I was late back to work (not that I took breaks anyway!).

Now I’m back in the office I’m reluctant to use the tiny kitchen as it’s well used and little cleaned. So thought I’d dig out my food flask and take hot soup/ food in with me. This also allows warm food post lunchtime walk or run.

Which leads me to ….. soup makers.
