😭😭 I've just tested positive for Covid 😭😭

I don't feel too bad but had a dull headache along with usual cold type symptoms yesterday. I never get headaches so not a good sign for me. Did test when I got up this morning.

WP - I'm not that upset now, but I expect that's because I don't feel great.

When I'm better I'll probably be really cross.

At least I'll only lose flight and race entry costs this time. It's Easyjet, don't think you can reschedule flights, I haven't checked.

Haven't told my friend that I was due to meet up with yet.

Terrible run this morning, slowest in a long time amd not the low HR to compensate, just hope it's a one off and not coming down with something.

My run was terrible as well Ian. Just sweating a lot, having to walk to get HR in the zone. Strange how it goes sometimes, as Saturday’s was great in comparison.

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
