You'll have to paste it, don't know why it's not coming up as link.

And while I'm in EA rant mode...when they set up their new race listing website I contacted them to ask if Brighton marathon and London marathon had race permits as the permits weren't on the website.

A simple yes or no was all I asked, no reply at all

Ian - speedwork always feels more enjoyable when it's done.

Worth looking at that survey, took me longer than the 5-10 minutes as I gave my opinion in a few places. But suggested benefits to non club members very good, £2 race discount, Sportsshoes discount etc., etc.

We have lost Steve in our move over to FE. Not sure if he'd have noticed yet.

I'll drop him a message.
14 this morning before it warms up.
Went to the park so it's easier to pace myself so I didn't die at the end.It is always a bit slower that way as the last 3m are basically uphill but overall it felt a lot better than Sunday.

Thanks Ian for offering to contact Steve.

That's a good long run done. You bounced back well from that sickness bug.

About This Thread

Maintained by Shades
Back in December 2005 I started a thread on Runner's World offering a marathon training plan on 3 runs a week. I had my own running club at the time (Womens Running Network) and I had successfully trialled the training plan when I took a group of girls to Dublin to run their first marathon.

Over the years the thread has evolved into a chat thread, with a bit of training advice, race reports, for predominantly marathon runners.
