Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Saying out loud to someone "I must remember to..." is code for "it has just become YOUR job to remind me to..." IMHO, ChrisHB.

In which case, blame it on Mrs HB rather than on a senior moment! ;-)

I mostly concur with your advice, Fitz & Chrisity, but neither of those was the case today.

My wife asks me to remind her about things. I rarely remember before she remembers, giving her the opportunity to remind me I forgot to remind her. It keeps her happy.

I’ll ask my wife to remind me to remind her if she’s asked me to give her a reminder.

I went to the wrong car in the shopping centre car park. It was a similar colour in my defence

I've done that in Canada Bazoaxe, as they're usually rentals so I am pretty vague on what we've rented!! ;)

This is a good one.

Making a cup of tea, I picked up an egg rather than a tea-bag but noticed before dropping it in the mug. (The egg was correctly in an egg-box and the tea-bags also in the right container.)

Put kit in washing machine - about an hour later it said "end" so I put it on an extra spin.

When that finished went to get it out - and it's still dry with powder still in the drawer.

We were running low on mouthwash so yesterday I picked up 3 lots as they were on offer, went to put them away only to find 2 more that I bought the other day because they were on offer.... I despair...

About This Thread

Maintained by ChrisHB
This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
