Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Discovered there wasn't enough granola in the plastic container - filled up the container from the new packet of granola in the larder. Put the container back in cupboard then decided it might make more sense to actually fill my cereal bowl first before doing so ..

Went to put my glasses on after my shower. Realised I had already put them on and the reason I couldn’t see was because they were steamed up...

Put the marzipan and milk in the food processor to make the frangipane paste for my pie. Turned it on, couldn’t work out why it wasn’t blending. Then realised the blade was still in the cupboard.

LOL, Winniefree. That reminds me of when I used to use my bread maker...and forget to put the paddle in before the ingredients!

I’ve done that, remember pausing it and stick the paddle in through the unmixed ingredients.

I brought the watering-can in to keep it dry and left the soluble fertiliser out in the rain.

Happily the watering-can didn't fit in the space where the fertiliser belonged.

Took work call and started trying to type notes. Nothing.
Works better if you plug the keyboard into the usb port of the laptop.

I made myself a cup of tea in a mug this morning for breakfast, got the cereal and a bowl out, and proceeded to pour cereal into my tea.

Just tried to do a Google search by typing in a Word document

About This Thread

Maintained by ChrisHB
This morning I went to charge my kindle and instead found myself trying to charge my coffee mug. It was my third coffee of the day as well, clearly not strong enough!

=============

I was just drying my hair after a shower, I switched the hairdryer on and suddenly the bedroom was plunged into darkness, the hairdryer wasn't working either. Great, the electrics have just tripped out.

I find a torch, go to the fuse box but nothing has tripped - turns out I pressed the light switch instead of the hairdryer 'on' button.
