Opened my glasses case to put my glasses away and wondered why my glasses weren’t in it.

Had to drive round the block back to the house this morning because I couldn't remember locking the front door. I had, but for some reason I had forgotten to sing the door locking song (in my head, not out loud), so it hadn't stuck. I sing "Locking the dooooooor, on a lovely Friday (change day as necessary) morning!" in a cheery mental tone.
That reminds me, my car has a phone app which tells me where it is and if it's locked. I could do with one for the house.

Note: I do not forget where my house is. Just the locking thing.

Hubby's always forgetting whether he locked the garage door...so we usually have to swing back to verify. I've taken to testing the door before we leave so we don't have to drive more than a mile home!!

How does the app know your car is locked? Do you have to tell it?

The car has a SIM card in it somewhere. I can also send a command to warm up/cool down the car remotely. And flash the headlights so I can find it if I can't remember where it's parked. Witchcraft!
