Oops...Well done Night-owl; my recent 10k was 14.25. using 20/30.
Can I throw in my excuse?! I am a very slow walker thanks to a left leg disability which allows for only a flat foot push off. I find walking very tiring whereas running pushes me forward thanks to momentum.

I have a "good idea" when my bleep will bleep but I do feel I walk now because it bleeps
I shant use it race day and have no other events so I am quiet happy to "bust a gut" on the day. Ultimately it's sub 4 but I would rather it be a proper sub 4 than 3:59!

Night-owl
Thanks Steve.
I'm a slow walker

I can understand that. People think running and walking are similar but it's not I read the autobiography if Glenn Cunningham he had an accident in childhood and had trouble walker I think doctors said he wouldn't walk again. So he ran found it easier to run.

Been ages since I read it so may have misremembered some bits

Great mind set EPixie! I'm looking forward to you doing a special time.
Interesting info there Night-owl, I'll look for that book.
Nine minutes is beyond me currently lin50, well done on that.
Cardiology appointment a week today, it'll probably only be an initial assessment but I'm hoping for something positive to come out of it so I won't be scared to elevate my HR again!
5 miles to HRM , so run/walk variable today .

We’re away in the campervan for a week or so in Cornwall, currently near Port Isaac. We arrived yesterday and I’d sorted a figure-of-eight route where I got a 6x90/120 session done yesterday afternoon. Probably I’ll do similar tomorrow (Thursday) and then run/walk around a Cornish parkrun on Saturday. Possibly Trelissick, although that’s a technical course, so I may opt for Penryn instead. (I’ve done Eden Project and Lanhydrock before and although both great events, I’d do a different location).

Thanks re Pam runs! Splendid pace on those three run/walks. Krikey, you would notch up impressive times with all running.
Another four miles at 20/30 early this dawning. Chilly, must over the fields; I wore gloves!
