I did the 2nd session this morning from the NHS plan. 8x60/90 again, with about 10mins walking warmup/cool-down. No problems to report and it was a nice morning out there today, with the sky on the horizon over the sea very orange.

LG, I downloaded the NHS couch to 5K app, but I donβt think all the sessions are listed in advance, although on the app you can click through the different sessions to see what is planned. Some details are here. nhs.uk |

I ran yesterday with Garmin set to 45/45. But I felt ok and managed to run 3 x 45 then walk 45. So I'm going to increase my runs a bit, maybe 2/1, and see how that feels for parkrun.

Iβve been doing 2/1 but felt tired yesterday and everywhere I go round here is sooo hilly that I did 1/1 instead I did run all of the downhills though.

Plans sure do assist, no doubt about it. I always have a plan, often a bit vague but overall it's "there". My failing is not incorporating "plan B" with enthusiasm if the situation dictates. Ah..so you aren't going eyeballs out at Park Run Big G! Sounds like you've got a good plan. Doing splendidly there GMedals. And what to say about PamRuns?! Zipping along and I'm jealous! Forgot my gym boss on my 4miler this morning so my ratio was done from memory! Still consistent (hopeless!) pace but lovely early chilly morning. |
