Yeah 5 + 6 would be fine. It was something I had hoped I could have managed with the dodgy foot.

Trying to work out a tactic for this week. I'd normally run 5 or 6 times a week and clock up between 40 and 45 miles.

This week, Monday to Saturday is 14 to 19 so is 5 to 10 km each day so 45km or just over 28 miles for those 6 days. If I do a longish one on Sunday (10 to 13) then that is a full week.

Seems like even though today is 5k and I'd normally run a slow "just short of 6" miler as a Monday recovery I'd be better off keeping a lid on it at the start of the week.

Did 5k this morning foot ‘ok’ but once I hit mile+ it eased off nicely. Slightly speedier than recent runs too although at one point I thought I was running in treacle and my lungs weren’t happy. I was going uphill and once back downwards again I was fine.

Not sure I’ll push to do every day but I’ll go with getting my best score (great idea Elsie) and take it from there.

I did the bare minimum today on what would usually be a rest day. I felt pretty tired after 20 miles yesterday!

We seem to have lost another complete streaker over night, now down to 53... (I think!)

Its certainly getting harder!

Sigh
I'm mentally psyching myself to do Run The Sum in December. The only obstacle I remembered was that I have a blood donation booked :-( Then I've just checked the date of that. 1st December. Pretty sure I can run a gentle 1km on the same day I give blood, and 2km the following day :-)

So far, so good...Thursday, Friday and Saturday this week are going to be interesting...and same with the 27, 28, 29th of the month. I'll have to split the last one as it's a work day.

I *think* I should be ok this week, but agree Garfield 27, 28, 29th will be interesting given they fall on work days for me...
