I've had an email from a Fetchie in Bangkok This is Vikas: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/userprofile.php?id=70417 He followed Binks' Run Until You Drop challenge last year, and has come up with one of his own, that I've coded up for him. It's called 'Run The Sum' - and it's a bit less nutty than the original - and looks like it could actually be fun, rather than torture. Here's the challenge: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/runthesum Join in if you fancy it, Fetchies Don't break yourselves - you can take rest days and still get a good score. |

My head hurts just thinking about how this works. Please use smaller words and more examples!

For an example, today is the 5th, so you have the potential to score 5 points, by running at least 5k. On the 9th, to get 9 points, you need 9k. On the 10th, that's 1+0 = 1 point, and 1+0 = 1km. On the 18th, that's 1+8 = 9 points, and 1+8 = 9km. And so on |

The minimum distance required to get full marks would be 172km (~107 miles). On the other hand, if you did the 'Run Until You Drop' challenge, that would need ~798km (496 miles).

Ok, got it! I like that it's rather random. And in km so the numbers aren't so scary

I'm bloody glad I'm not running in Thailand *fans self* Now I'm kicking myself for not running on the 2nd. Is this how OCD starts? |

If you take a rest day, you just don't score the points for that day. Lots of gaps in the leaderboard.
