Fragile Do Not Bend
My knees are starting to get achey, it’s possible I won’t make it until the end as I don’t want to break myself before virtual London.

I did 11 miles on bank holiday with an elevation of almost 1000ft!! Then ran all over distance reunited with a 12miler yesterday,I’ve clocked up 38m this week my all time highest.

I think I’ll be sticking to close to required mileages now as I don’t want to burn out I’ve got virtual London Marathon on the 4th. Thankful I can split into 2 runs if I need too.

I had wondered about the 29th, and wether it would be 11 or 2, but someone confirmed this a few pages back!

I think this challenge is harder than it looks, I'm not sure the hall of fame will be filled this month...

The thing I’m finding most difficult isn’t having to run every day, I’ve pretty much done that in lockdown anyway, it’s the “have to” element. I never follow a training plan, I always just set off and go as short or as long as I feel like once I’m out there. Knowing I “have to” run a certain distance takes the fun out of it for me. So far it’s been fine, I would normally run further than the prescribed distances as a matter of course, but I’m not looking forward to the 5.xx/6.xx days if my legs/head don’t particularly feel like going that distance that day. I’m more likely to drop out due to cba to follow the plan rather than cba to run at all.

I've been starting off by squishing my bug everyday and seeing how far that takes me. I've been well over the distance most days so far but almost everything's been at low effort (11- 12 min miles for me) with walking up most of the hills!

I'm already at my highest ever streak so should pick up some streaking badges on the way. I'm also aiming for Bugpocalypse and maybe 10,000 points as well so I've got a bit of motivation. Of course it would have been a lot easier before I went back to work...

Tomorrow is the first day my planned run isnt long enough. I’ve decided to take some of the planned Kms from Tuesday and do them Monday instead. Rest of the week should be fine.
