Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That's good news RB!

I had to add a bit on the end of my recovery run today to hit 6k. Felt like a bit more of a slog tbh...

Cacking it about tomorrow after the way my legs just felt. May have to be a run, walk, shuffle... Still as long as I get out there!

Today was a tester. After a hard day yesterday and almost three hours of slogging round the roads on my MTB earlier today I'd normally have suggested a walk before tea, but I had this thing to do so I went out for a run instead. My legs were compliant but clearly tired and I didn't do much more than the 6km required.

Tomorrow will be fine. I usually run on Mondays anyway.

I taped my foot up before our walk and it helps I’ll get on the foam roller when I get home tomorrow and may book a sports massage as I’m sure it’s the calf that’s to blame. Darn you foot.

That’s impressive training today, Vrap. I think I should be okay tomorrow. Bit nervous about later in the week though.

Get through to Thursday and then you're back to tiny distances for a few days, Ness :) And there's always the option of splitting the longer runs into short doubles. I'm holding on to that as an option for Tuesday. 8km late at night looks daunting, but if I can do half of it first thing it's a much smaller beastie.
