You're already achieving three PJ quality sessions a week, Ness

Thanks, Vrap. Sometimes I forget to be positive about what I am doing instead of worrying about what I think I should be doing.

I’ve already done one but feel motivated now to carry on. I do a mile of continuous hills once a week. Because I’m still living in the city (but waiting to move house to the hilly bit of Cheshire) I do the Col de B&Q 4 times.

Watching with interest Actually doing any sessions at all seems to have been a problem so far this week, but I have a “grand plan” with blocks/cycles and progessions and all the words forming itself slowly and I will make a start at some point soon

Just dumped my quality running sessions for a while, but still have bootcamp and my weights session so I think I qualify.

Ooh Jenny please explain the Col de B&Q! Our Aldi was once the B&Q and it's on a hill... but I'm not sure how I could do it as a continuous hill. Run up, jog down? Or am I wildly off the mark?
Are you moving to Alderley Edge? There's posh!

Teebs, from your blog it sounds like the quality sessions weren't quality for you and therefore needed dumping at least for a while.
Something that is properly quality will leave you feeling REALLY GOOD (shouts) afterwards.

Col de B&Q is a long hill up and over the tram line near Old Trafford cricket ground. It takes me about 45 seconds to run up one side and 65 seconds back up the other. Yes I jog down but then immediately turn round and come back up. Not Alderley Edge, Bollington near Macc.

Love the thread Sharkie! I think my rolling hills session tonight counts as a quality session. My first real efforts since VMLM, pushing hard on the ups and concentrating on form. Felt great afterwards which is one of your criteria too 😀. I recently heard someone (sorry, can’t remember who) describe hills as “Mounds of Opportunity” so I’m trying to take that mindset rather than walking them 😂
