My 10 weeks ends on 6th June so I’m really 🤞🤞🤞🤞 that it goes ahead on 5th. I’m very pleased with how it’s going so far. Friday’s 5k was such a hard slog yet today’s long run felt great all the way. I must have needed a day off.

Started week 1 with 5 x 800m in 3:55 with 3 min rest as suggested by PJ. Pleased to have managed:
3) 0.8km - 3:46(4:42/km) 149/164bpm 50cal 5) 0.8km - 3:53(4:51/km) 157/163bpm 54cal 7) 0.8km - 3:52(4:50/km) 157/166bpm 54cal 9) 0.8km - 3:53(4:51/km) 159/163bpm 55cal 11) 0.8km - 3:51(4:49/km) 160/167bpm 56cal
Except for the first interval, where I went off a bit fast, the others are all quite consistent. For 'rest' I walked for about 30 s and then gentle jogged the rest.

That's great pacing, Mr TEa.
I also intervalled today. 5:18 5:23 5:19 5:22
The last one was slower because I had to stop twice for traffic then ran like a mad woman to try and hit the target pace and failed

GM, that's still very good, in fact all of your reps were good. Great running especially as mostly off road.
