Not sure if he’s a keen runner, but Dan Martin was at IoW parkrun today. I thought it was him at the start but wasn’t 100% sure, but when I checked the results he was 2nd in 17:35 for his first parkrun. A quick Google confirmed he’s on the island, doing promo stuff for ToB.

Good spot. His wife, Jess, is an elite distance runner (represented GB at Olympics). I don't know how much he did whilst he still racing, but wouldn't surprise me if he's taken to doing some now he's retired. I do wonder if he's generally trying to boost his media career, as he's recently done some work with GCN, including a fun couple of videos about being introduced to downhill MTBing. |

In case you hadn't seen, Vivani managed to ride the Europeans Road Race (and was in the mix at <1km to go) and then go straight to the velodrome and win the elimination race. Not a bad effort. |
