Froome cracked by Aru... is Aru finally going to win a Grand Tour? Looking very strong.

Well he SHOULD be the best fresh guy, which was why he had to be in my team

Has the motorbike done it again? Cousin one of the leading three and touches wheels, has his wheel touched, costing him a chance for the stage in the last km!

In there, with Valverde. Both lost a little time to Aru and gained some time on Froome (as did Rodriguez, Chavez and... surprisingly DuMoulin), all came in together as a bunch of 6 or 7 along with Roche (is Roche the leader elect?)

Nieve came in ahead of Froome too, so Froome is now the 3rd placed Sky rider in 12th/13th thereabouts.

Quintana came in with a group of 10 about 7s down on Aru. He's on the same time as Aru, 57s down on Chaves.
Maybe Sky are surreptitiously trying to slip Nico into prime position, using Froome as a distraction!

I didn't think Froome is suited to the double as he faded in the Tour and in general his 'skinny' peaking doesn't lend itself to long peaks.
