Not to be *that guy*, but a change.org petition doesn't have the same status as a government petition. I mean, it's all nonsense, but change.org always feels a bit dodge to me |

Oh, have I done it in the wrong place? Bloody SEO. Happy to recreate it on the right channel.

I see on the official site you only need 5 supporting email addresses to create a "real" petition. Would be funny to see how many a anti-Farage one gathered... Sorely tempted, with my array of false email addresses, to see what traction could be earned! |

Would it even get through? It's not one the government can make happen so pointless petitioning them. Any petition to get rid of Farage needs to be led by the people of Clacton given they're the ones that voted for him. If they're happy with him, it's doesn't really matter what the rest of us think. |

Far bet it from me to question the words of the mighty Lord Fetch, but it should be 'sow division and misinformation', not 'sew' ...

SPR, proper serious head on today, eh? I don't expect Clacton to have a bye-election based on this petition. A bit of fun, and it would be interesting to see how many signatures it does get. Might shame Farage into standing down and agitating for reversing Brexit. You never know. And loathe as I am to speak for the good people of Clacton, I bet "they're" not all happy with him. The stupid ones might be, as he doesn't seem to give a flying f**k about them, but not "all" by any means I bet. They've been sold a duff 'un and I bet there's a bit of buyers remorse in Clacton right about now. |

I had a brief look at the numbers on the general election petition. I didn't check everything but from the shading, it appeared that the most signatories came from Clacton (well highest percentage). That's either - true to form for a constituency that voted him in - they want a GE simply to get rid of him Anyway. Breaking news, Labour have confirmed they will hold another general election |
