Fields nails it. Refuse to listen to the concerns of ordinary people, however much you despise them, and this is what you get. If you don’t like it, you don’t believe in democracy but in a “we know what’s best for you” benign dictatorship - democracy but only if it’s what I agree with. Don’t abuse and dictate to Trump voters, listen to them and educate them in a way that brings them with you. Something that the Left in the US and Europe are failing to do, sadly.
