It does feel like a bit of a "witch hunt" around Rachel Reeves now. Not sure whether that's because they've decided Starmer is too well hidden/has no skeletons in the cupboard, and have switched to a perceived softer target?

Just think they're Tories pretending to be neutral. They could do what Johnson or whoever it was did and instal a croney at the top. |

It's the second time Rachel Reeves has had errors on her CV. I'm guessing the first time meant someone said something about the other error and more. It likely ends as not much as it doesn't seem like there's more to come out but I think expecting the chancellor's CV to be accurate makes sense and the expenses thing isn't great.

They’re obviously digging on all cabinet ministers, probably proportionately to their seniority. We did the same when Tories were in. Issue with Reeves is they keep finding things they can run with. If it continues and the economy remains poor Starmer may have to act. |

Thing is Johnson claimed to have been a journalist Ans despite being bollocks or never did him any harm 😉

No harm done to Reeves yet. Government still at the stage where sleaze can be brushed off, but it does burn through political capital. Annoying though that avoidable own goals and sleaze have eaten up so much political capital they could have been spent on difficult, radical policy implementation. |

I don’t understand why someone in or aspiring to that type of position would allow that to be the case.
