Looks like Trump really dropped a bollock at the Black Journalists Convention. His team pulled him out 40 minutes early because he was making such a balls-op of it. "The Bulwark's Tim Miller commented: "This NABJ interview is a great example of why the people who demand that we deplatform Trump are wrong. People should see this! A grumpy, cruel, hard-of-hearing, race-baiting, asshole having to actually answer for his track record in an environment outside of his comfort zone." Yep. |

I mean he's been president once and might be president again. Not sure many minds have changed so all that's happened is that people that agreed he was bad news get to say he looked bad. If he wasn't running for president then absolutely no need to give him a platform.

The pendulum is swing the Democrats way. That interview was an absolute car crash. I'm glad they didn't cancel him because its really shone a light on who he is. Also feeling much sympathy for the late queen. Would you rather your last act was meeting Liz Truss or have the public commentary of your funeral and death presided over by someone probably about to go on the sex offenders register. Or both. |

That's very true. Although it does allow people to see the contrast between Bitter Delusional Racist Grandad obsessed with the past and a much younger woman focusing on a positive future. And it energises the opposition. Both things help. |
