Happy to withdraw that and amend it to Space Kevin which tbh plays better on his Brattain teenager like behaviour :-)

I didn’t have a Facebook account for a few years but I now use it to for marketplace and to follow a few bands, and check for local trades. Have it in a false name

False name? A surprise

Unnecessary sniping remark.

There are plenty of reasons people might not use their real name online, eg calling yourself Derby Tup on this website

Sorry, no results for “prannet” in the English Dictionary.
Did you mean:
Transnet
bannet
branned...

New one on me. Anyhoo, Space Kevin (or any other name) for Elon Musk was new on me too, so really didn't get it! Got it now. Marketplace is another good reason for FB, true.

Don't think Starmer said he hated teachers and kids. Think he actually said how important education is for levelling the playing field, irrespective of your background? :-) G

Quite interested to note JSO using older people in yesterday's protests (new tactic I think) and the quotes given for why they were protesting seemed well prepared and hard to argue against. Not that people didn't try, but their counter arguments didn't seem to contain any substance ("They are just so selfish," said without the faintest hint of irony)

I seem to remember a lot of the road blockers (can’t remember if that was Just Stop Oil or Extinction Rebellion) were retired folk.

Starmer hates clean air for Londoners.

Name-calling will be called out, and Ad hominem will be frowned upon. :-) And whatabout-ery sits somewhere above responding to tone and below contradiction.
