Winning the next GE is fundamental. We’ve spent too long outside the tent pissing in. The policy is to win and to get those bastards out for as long as possible. That’s it

It wasn't there, then it was (web browser for me). I've had that happen before. Just a glitch in the matrix... Saying Brexit isn't working is meaningless without any reasonable plan for how to fix it. I mean, it's one step beyond denial of the problem, but a small and indeterminate one. Johnson said it wasn't working too! (NI protocol) |

Some Corbyn policies eg renationalising energy distribution, water and the railways were striking a chord with a lot of voters I really think Labour's empty suit/lack of policies/lack of alternative positioning and identity is going to be a major factor in 2024. Labour will also lose just about every televised debate as well, because they've nothing to say and I can see the polls shifting and the gap narrowing. It’s all very well saying win the next election first but you win by offering a convincing electoral proposition. At least Blair was offering an alternative vision - in so many different ways - in 1997. |

Independent article on what the Times says. So the Tories are putting out feelers for some sort of SM/ CU but without freedom of movement still. independent.co.uk |
