I quite liked seeing all his tweets with disclaimers the other day. Perhaps Twitter could apply this to more accounts rather than suspending people?

re: Raab - The Tories are not "connoisseurs" of politics. They don't remember/don't realise it's over. Bush showed the text book of what happens next - and it has been since admitted so - when once he won (in tighter circumstances) over Florida from Gore with a legal case hanging over him, and just carried on as president elect conducted himself as though there was nothing untoward and by the time the court case everyone was like - "what court case", Gore had no air time really, Bush was president and you could see that it was not going to be undone. The same will happen for Trump and those who stick by him will be tarred by association.

I will kinda miss Trump. Although totally bonkers, he has made me laugh at times. But looking forward to a safer world with Biden at the helm.

I think Trump going will be like when you turn off the vacuum cleaner. You can tolerate the noise but it is lovely when it is switched off

I think there will be plenty of noise from Trump for a long time to come.
He will be like a drunk, kicked out of a pub, who keeps coming back in, raving incoherently (probably with sick down himself and his trousers soiled by an episode of double incontinence).

Just noticed that Georgia is now up to a 10k lead.
That's v solid on any recount.
Looks like the overseas/provisionals have been *very* blue. That may bode well for NC. But ~75k is a big deficit to overcome.
Think they'll move to declare Biden as "apparent winner" in the state (like they've done with WI) today.
They may also call AZ (finally) today, but it depends on the latest Maricopa batch to be announced this evening. Trump needs to be winning ~60/40 to gain the state.
The final margin might be crucial in terms of what mandate Biden has.
I expect pretty much *all* the legal challenges to be thrown out due to zero evidence.

Twittler spewing poison from the sidelines will be as welcome in the US as the nicotine-stained wide-mouthed frog is in the UK. As loathsome as they are to me they have a significant following.

I am absolutely baffled by a few comments I've seen (and not got involved in) on other People's Facebook.
First someone who hates Obama because "I don't like communists".
Secondly someone hoping Biden survives his full term only because otherwise Harris is President and "She's a Socialist".
Is there anything at all about either Obama or Harris (or for that matter Biden) that actually could be described as either Socialist or Communist?
I mean, I'm pleased it's not Trump for the next 4 years and I think Biden is a decent enough bloke but the Democrats are hardly my idea of a bunch of Lefties.

Lol SailorSteve - as long as it's not aimed at anyone on the list, it's fine.
