Maybe Rudy had a few things he needed the landscape company to dispose of? Or the four seasons hotel wanted cash up-front after previous cheques bounced?

They probably had an offer on compost. After all he's going to be spending a lot of time on his allotment from now on. He needs to get his November Broad Beans sown, and his Garlic.....

Lol NDWDave.
Great speech by Biden last night. He looks 10 years younger, it's amazing. Yes I know even Obama's track record (on foreign policy and drone bombings) was particularly bad, but I can't be cynical today or at the moment, it's just wonderful to be on the winning and hear them saying all the right things and offering hope. There's a lot of work to do for sure, and we will probably be let down, but let's complain when it happens, let's not go into this saying "it's all going to be crap/same as Trump".
I see some Corbynites grousing about the American military death machine on my timeline - and yes - it's awful - but not even Sanders was proposing to dismantle it. And as Biden said in his speech, at the lowest ebb of his campaign, the African American voters came to his support and revived it, and they had his back and said now he has got theirs. And to be lectured by white middle class hard left on why Sanders (unpopular with African American voters) would have been better seems/feels completely tone deaf and more than a little patronising.

He may well have been better but he would have lost by a record margin. Team Trump had done a decent job of painting Biden as a radical and a lot of it stuck, Bernie would have been slaughtered.

I hope Twitter follow through with the reports that they will delete Trumpington's account the minute Biden takes office.

It was painful watching Raab refusing to answer what should be a pretty simple question for fear of getting drawn into something else and maybe upsetting Trump.
