I must say, watching 'The Rise of the Nazis' on iplayer recently while all this has been going on has been...uncomfortable.

Me too, what an excellent series. Shows what happens when the right wing think they can tame the far right and meld them to their own ends.

+1 ^ J2R & Chrisull. The almost deadpan presentation enhances the enormity of the crimes.

I'm always quite surprised, no shocked, that people really don't have a grasp of what happened then, and what sort of people the Nazi's were...

In a completely off topic question for DT, as an inveterate Windsor knot wearer, could you explain when and when it is not appropriate? Is it that the points of the collar are too close together?

I find the increasing rhetoric around the judiciary deeply worrying. This 'enemy of the people' label that is being stuck on parliament and judges is step 1 in every warning from history. I despise any leader on any side of any argument that uses this type of language. I don't care if you voted leave or remain, we cannot allow this to stand. Democracy first! |
