Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Are you OK after your race Colette? Are you fully healed from the PF now?

My PF is definitely grumbling again on left foot. I was on holiday and ran in same shoes for 2.5 weeks. Also did a 10K in some very old shoes, with 2 before and 4 after making it 12 miles in old shoes! Not as much stretching and TLC on holiday, no pilates or foam rollering either. Could be any one or combination of these things. Time to get massaging, ball rolling, stretching etc.

Well done any of you that were VLMing at weekend. Was a wonderful spectacle to watch and to follow you all on screen and online. :-)G

Not so Lazytoad!
Hi Guys

I believe I have PF, in my left foot..... Off to the physio later this week for confirmation etc. Its partly my own fault as three days walking around Dortmund in ballet flats seems to have been the catalyst. Its not excruciating nagging pain under my heel that kind of throbs. Can anyone give me some advice prior to the physio for easing this off?

Thanks

Well, I managed 53 yesterday and while the Plantar Fasciitis was grumbling, it didn't stop me!. There is hope! :-) G

I am now armed, or legged, with a Strassburg sock! How exciting. Will let you know how I get on. After a spring of plenty of running, managing PF pretty well, I seem to have killed my foot off now - walking with a limp.

Hope it works for you. I'm 2 years with this now. It goes up and down. But not so bad that I can't train and race, so happy. :-) G
