At the Cardiff Parkrun today, we were informed by a (very pleasant admittedly) car park attendent in the Tescos car park adjacent to the race start that from next week that anyone parking and "leaving the site" will be booked. For anyone unfamiliar with the Gabalfa Tescos Extra car park, it is ginormous and we are naturally all gone by 9:45 and a sizeable number of race punters use the supermarket whilst there so fine work by Britain's most profitable retailer in demonstrating their support to health and fitness. |

Write to the manager and tell him/her that Saint. maybe they could have a 'I'm Fit to Park' sticker for the parkrunners?

I spoke to the people at ParkRun about setting up a new ParkRun run. In West Midlands they already have interest from people in Birmingham and some from Leamington Spa and me! from Coventry. If you would be interested in setting one up or volunteering then you can contact them and they'll put you in touch with the other potential volunteers and hopefully get things going from there. |

wooo wooo fantastic i would love to do one - i have done 3 in london in different places whenever i go down to visit but i just can't commit to helping out on a saturday morning because of kids activities, but if someone set it up i would be willing to help out every now and again |
