Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

2 park runs coming to the Berkshire area in the next few weeks, one near Slough in Black Park, which starts on the 18th July, trial run this Saturday, and one in Reading, starting on the 1st August I think

it is on their website, I had a look when I got emailed about the Slough course (might check that out on Saturday as I might be driving that way anyway)

parkrun.org.uk

details sketchy at the moment, it doesn't say where the course is, but I presume it will either be Palmer or Prospect Park. If it's Palmer Park it's right by where I live.

tmw, last i heard they were looking at a route by the river for the reading one - out and back from kings meadows i think. i was hoping it might be prospect park for the same reason as you'd like palmer park!

Am surprised they are doing a Reading one, seeing as Basingstoke is so near.

I don't think 20 miles is near, and I don't want to spend an hour driving to run 5k!

that's an interesting route potentially Ruth, and also quite close to me. good good

You should get a lift with me TMW, it only takes me about 35 mins ;)

I think it will get a good turn out.
