We (me!) put a post out last night asking that all of our rosters for the Christmas and New Year runs are filled before 20 Dec. I made it clear that we don't intend to chase up for volunteers over our Christmas break - guess what - core teams want to enjoy their Christmas break just like you do. It is soul destroying having to chase for volunteers almost every week. Our appeal went out last night and have had a handful of replies.

I am half wondering if I should ask for volunteers for the 28th now. I don't really want to spend my holidays asking for volunteers.

Which parkrun is threatening month out cancellation? I want to see the "charming message". Just cos I'm nosey.

A month prior is quite extreme. They must be really frustrated to have got to that point.

Good for you OC, I think I might suggest it to the our RD who's in for the 28th. I'm RD on the 21st but the roster is not too bad.
