Minor cautionary tale with regard to Polish parkruns - not sure if it was here or elsewhere but somebody told me they'd attended a parkrun in Poland and discovered that their approach to signage and marshalling was more than minimalist compared to the UK (i.e. there were none of either) causing folks who didn't know the route ahead of time to wander off into the woods. Don't know if it was Poznan - which certainly looks interesting from those pictures - or if the situation has evolved since but....

I keep seeing posts on Facebook from people who seem to know something about a proposed start in Spain for parkrun. Does anyone know anything about that? There’s nothing official, is there, or have I missed something?

South Boulder Creek has a roster of 5 or 6. Only about 50 participants though.

Not yet Baroness - I'm a little behind on Suffolk events these days as I tend not to tour nowadays.

Nothing official as far as I know. Unofficially:
"parkrun is due to start in South Korea & Hungary in November 2022 &
Spain & Portugal sometime in 2023."
We'll just have to wait and see what HQ say.

Anyone who has ever tried an earlyish run on the prom in Spain will foresee potential difficulties ;-). Still, a Torremolinos beach run, for example, would be pretty nice.
