I only found it by chance. Yeah position from 00 - 99 so could be say 04 (if you’re speedy) 104, 204 etc..

Ooh, I'll have a dig for that one LG - although as I'm on 85 parkruns it'll be some way away

Well I will definitely need a 1,2,3 etc before my number 8. The other two are slightly more doable at Stonehaven parkrun but will take them from wherever

Torbay parkrun today, which is my local. I have a sneaky suspicion that for most runners, their 'B' course is quicker than their 'A' course. Their A course is two laps of a flat, tarmac track, followed by a gravel path, a lap of a field, with a short hill in it, and bacd along the gravel path. When the field is waterlogged, as it is at the moment, their B course is 3 laps of the flat, tarmac track (approx 2.8 miles) and then an out-and-back along the gravel path. I don't mind at all, but unless it is long (I don't think it is) I would imagine most runners would get their PBs on the B Course.
Done Torbay a few times as all my family is from Torbay, so went back to check. I was absolutely convinced my pb was on the B course, but it turns out I've ran faster on the A course with a lap around the field. Strange as I prefer the three lapper around the velopark.

Mightily embarrassed to find they have put on a parkrun in the field behind my house and I didn't know. A 5 min walk to the start. It won't be fast because it is mostly grass. Maybe next week.

The velopark is very open to the elements (wind, rain), so I think probably the fastest conditions are when it is the B course because there has been heavy rain, but on the day of parkrun it happens to be good running conditions. I also much prefer the 3-lapper for a faster time. I do a reasonable amount of training down there because my tri club has access to the track for both cycling and running sessions, which is ideal for me as it is 1.5 miles from my house. There are no lights down there, but the club has bought some lights that they put around the edge of the track, which means we can access it all year (except when it is icy), which is brilliant.

Clearly the no publicity rule that parkrun insists on worked for that one icemaiden. Our inaugural yesterday was the worst kept secret in the county!
