I've booked to take my family away to London for the weekend that weekend. Have I got to rearrange my plans?

If you do, then parkrun will re-start on your re-arranged date

Thing is, I know I can get cover, but it's the first one back and everything...

Bob!
We've changed our course and done new risk assessment. All approved by llandowner and HQ.
emailed HQ to order extra equipment from Running Imp, asked at same time about ordering Hand sanitizer from running imp.
After 2 weeks had no response to the query in email, no order placed AFAIK, so followed up with further email last week.
Still no response from HQ.
And yet they are chasing about a response to a questionnaire they hid in a generic email!!!!!

Meanwhile, they've ordered defibrillator pads I don't need.

9 permissions announced today 9 yesterday none last Friday 11 on Thursday 6 May 9 on 5 May 10 on 4 May
With only 17 working days between when they sent for permissions & the 21 May (when they need to know by), & 564 contacted, they need to be announcing on average 33 a day for all landowners.
There's more parkruns than that, because some landowners have multiple events.
. What must be a concern is that they are getting permissions from multi event landowners for only single events, eg. Brighton has 5 parkruns, all the same landowner/LA. One of them was announced on 4th May, with nothing since. One of the two juniors restarts next week, the other one is targeting July.

That is not good and hopefully it picks up.
I know Spiedeog will disagree but I still think there is a pre registration approach that could be taken that would get parkrun back initially on a limited basis.
A plea issued to people to only attend if registered and the majority I reckon would comply and OK some will turn up regardless but they could be identified from the results and asked not to do so.

I don't expect that most landowners would change their decisions at the moment whether there is a pre-reg setup or not. They will simply be saying "no big events on our land until post 21st June".
Not saying that some others might be swayed by it, but most probably don't really realise its a complete free-for-all or just expect it to come back at about the same size as before.
Beyond "us lot" here who know some of the ins and outs of how road running's regulatory bodies have approached covid security, I suspect the nuance between local running club's 5k and parkrun is lost on the admininstrators at councils looking to pass approvals.

It would need to pick up a lot, as it's currently ~120 behind where they need to be, so the next 7 working days need 60 announcements a day.
