Loads of cancellations in South Wales and the South West. Gutted, as we’d planned to visit friends in Portishead tonight, and all do Ashton Court together tomorrow (my friend has done one parkrun at Eastville, her partner has done Eastville once and Ashton Court once.
We’ve decided to postpone for a couple of weeks, I’m now hoping that Cardiff or Grangemoor will be on tomorrow *crosses fingers*

Ashton Court remains the toughest parkrun I've ever done

Whinlatter's off tomorrow. I'm surprised; I didn't think it would be at much risk of cancellation provided the road access was clear, because people know it's going to be rough underfoot.

I’ve heard it’s a tough one Edison! Hoping that the weather will behave itself now in two week’s time so we can give it a go then.

The second half is wonderful, but the first half will leave you questioning why you ever took up running in the first place

Gobi, Walsall is my home run, but I've not been there since Christmas and doubt I'll make it back there before March.
This week I'm up in Carlisle, hoping that their gritting team can sort it out for tomorrow, otherwise I might be missing my 6th parkrun since 2015.

Dammit, if I'd known you'd be hereabouts this weekend I'd have planned for Carlisle, Mark. As it is, we've committed to Keswick.

The gritting team failed the time I tried Carlise Mark - hope you have better luck. Surprised about Whinlatter - it was icy when I did it, is it a roads/car park thing?
Will probably be in the Cumbria area for pr on 16th...weather permitting

Jovi.. not sure yet, still waiting to see if our guests can get here from the Worcester area - then we'll see what the weather is like in the morning. Thanks for the info re parking BTW. York are running their 'C' course on Bustardthorpe fields next to the racecourse grandstand (4 laps on the grass). Heslington are also considering a 'B' course if the usual route is frozen.

It's not, Rosehip, apparently the last descent to the finish is icy underfoot
I've had a near miss with work on the 16th, but on discussion with all concerned they'd rather I did the 17th if I won't do both days (which I won't) so as things stand I should be able to run in any park
