At Witney we have the West Witney Sports and Social club who offer teas, coffees, and free water if you have your own drink container. Bacon and sausage rolls are also on offer. This all takes place outside on their paved area adjacent to the finish to preserve their carpets.

Bressay probably gets a 100% cafe turnout as there is not much else to do waiting for the ferry. And the proceeds benefit the island community.
Ruchill is my favourite. Head for the local public golf club (public golf clubs in Glasgow are very cheap and cheerful), make a cup of tea or coffee, someone brings biscuits. Works for a small event and you can probably help out token sorting.

I'm another one who doesn't like the new choice for my local parkrun - deal is £5 for a breakfast and tea or £5 for tea, I did ask the manager if tea on its own could be even half the price cause good on them it's unlimited tea but you also make it yourself but they said no so sorry but along the beach front there are plenty of other venues but it means I don't catch up with the usual crowd afterwards. Also I think the booth like seats ( unless you're a fasty who have claimed the only long table ) makes it less inclusive.

We have a small café with a definite set of regulars who go for coffee afterwards - I'd say 10% of the runners, maybe less now that our numbers have gone up since New Year.
As RD it can be a challenge to get a spot for processing as I turn up once everyone else has grabbed all the tables but it always works out - with any luck someone's kept a chair free. And we have "Lewisham Local" cards for all the volunteers, giving us 10% off coffees etc.

The cafe at Fountains Abbey is now so busy we've had to put a reserved sign on a table so we can get a table to process the results!

I've been to two post-run coffees. At Killerton in Devon, another National Trust place, it was heaving - as per Jovi's experience.
At another in Surrey, which shall remain nameless, it was clear only the core team ever went and we sat cradling a hot drink and being looked at in a 'WTF are you doing here?' way.

I worry that any tourist coming in to our cafe post run (while certainly not being stared at like that) might feel a bit uncomfortable. There aren't many tables (often some of them have already been set up for a kid's birthday party) and the core team and token sorters more than fill the ones that are there.

Killerton is a great run and a nice cafe. Most recent Post run coffee was in Thornbury after the Fetch Meetup. Nice warm pub.

I went to a cafe post parkrun once. It was a bit too rah rah jolly hockey sticks for me, but then maybe it’s the area the parkrun was in!
When I move to London later this year I look forward to trying some new ones out.
