There's a postcode box on this page now: fetcheveryone.com/parkrun.php so you can search anywhere. |

Dear Fetch, another suggestion please - each row to have a link to the actual parkrun?! Or am I missing something. How else can you read what others have already written? G

> We are lucky to be the home run of the wonderful Bruce Li, official parkrun photographer. We had Bruce come to Wycombe Rye in the snow last year (3rd March, Storm Emma and we were one of the few parkruns that went ahead) and he took some great photos. My profile picture is from one of our regular runners who is also a professional photographer and does that service when injured. It is not often I wish ofr a runner to be injured but they are good photos. |

You should be able to see them if you click 'Edit' or 'Add' next to one of the runs on the list. But stick it on my spike, and I'll make it a bit clearer.

How can you correct incorrect info someone else has put in their review? I have found one that says free parking where there isn't (well not really unless you are there an hour before, and I wouldn't publicise that)

If you are out in a public place doing nothing in particular, such as running around a park, then you have no expectation of privacy and if someone takes your picture then that is theirs to do with as they wish and you can do nothing about it. The right to privacy would cover things like if you were out in public and photographed, but that photo was then published identifying it as being you and you were maybe somewhere that you didn't want people who know you to know that you frequent, or hanging out with someone who you maybe didn't want people to know about. That would then be infringing on your privacy, despite the fact that you are in public. Taking a picture of someone running around a park of a Saturday morning isn't infringing on their privacy though. |

That's interesting Spideog. What if I'm e.g. overweight or have a bad scar or anything really that means I don't want to be photographed. Or don't want it published. But I desperately want to run (and don't want to or can't pay to run somewhere private) possibly even prescribed by a GP for my physical or mental well being. And a published photo would discourage me from doing it or from repeating it. Could I then argue I have a right to privacy, for that photo to be removed? Doesn't apply to me, but just interested as you seem to have a handle on the legals. cw - for just now, just fmail the author of the review comment and ask them to change it? G |
