Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Excellent, thanks all. So infrequent that I do parkrun's these days (got to 85 mid-2015, currently at 99!) but I wanted the barcode ready! Will check those companies out.

On the subject of wristbands, has anyone's deteriorated at all? Bought 5 of us black ones 18 months ago, but just one of them (youngest boy) has started to deteriorate such that the bars are starting to merge. Was still scannable on Saturday, but it definitely is looking worse for wear. They only get worn on parkrunday and they've only done about 15 runs in them, so can't quite fathom out what has gone awry with this one.

I'll contact the wristband company of course, just curious if anyone else had had a similar issue?

(I've had one for longer and its still going strong).

No I still use paper barcodes that I have laminated and stored in various places: with my running watch, in my running belt, in my purse, in my car, in OH car & in caravan.

That's far too organised Westmoors. The only correct place to store your barcode is somewhere you can't find it.

Larkim, I’ve had my wristband for about twenty months and it’s still in good condition. I’ve worn it at about forty parkruns plus quite a few other solo training runs.
They aren’t cheap considering what they are so I think that you’re right to contact the manufacturers.

Wristband is fine, I wear it on long runs too as ID, had it about a year, no problems at all.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll contact the manufacturer.
