maybe in the future ZF, and I must admit it would be nce to have a parkrun where I don't have to travel to, but I'm not sure that it's right just at the moment (in my opinion anyway)

heard something about a free pint (good times), but then read back (bad times!).

Am I allowed to say Albert park might have too many, maybe something else could happen there... But Durham's nearest is Sunderland with only 30ish a week. Actually the parkrun site's results page mentions what club people are from - so we can assume they travel from the club's area.

And here's me thinking it was going to be a nice chat about how great Park Runs are......no offence meant to anyone......just going to sit on the fence here lol.....
But just to say I think Park runs are brilliant and get people out and about, I travel from Northumberland and to the Newcastle one and would struggle on public transport, but have and do offer lifts and encounge others to come along and for me thats what it is all about.
Have a nice day and hopefully see you all at Newcastle Park Run tomorrow :-)

TMW. Not like you to state the obvious. I think comment may be clouded by other factors mate.

Melar: there was a nice discussion . Nothing more than a productive discussion about NE Parkruns from people who love them and care. Really if someone voices a different opinion from your own (which is likely on the net) then really accept it or counter argue but please dont give do the victim/ martyr, help i'm being attacked syndome rubbish .

Rob. sunderland Parkrun is a bit low on numbers i think . I hate to criticise Park runs at all but i've said it before , i'm not the greatest fan of this one prefering Newcastle and Albert park . this is mainly because of the course although i do like the uphill finish. i just wish they had picked another park.s/land has so many. Herrington may be good . loads of parking or maybe one in the centre of tone , or Roker park next to the sea front. oh and yes i've offered to help them find another place and course but quite rightly there want to give this one time . Still i will go to all three. oh and should any other come up , including N. shields i'll support that to.
