Had to look up Palindrome on the app. Apparently I've done two - variations of the 25:52 - that and 52:25 - think it was a walk run with wife and dog! :-) G

Your slower palindrome is quite fast , HappyG, mine is 75:57 tail-walking with a family who were having a nature walk as they did parkrun ... I was frozen

Lol Lorraine. So my suspicion that my conker collecting run walk with 4 yr old grandson of 70 mins would have been fine to log on parkrun is valid then? :-) G

76 mins nature ramble. This should not be happening at a parkrun. I don't do parkrun scanning or marshaling late into a course as there is a point where I disagree with what parkrun has become.

Gobi it’s a contentious issue. Mrs WoTD would like to do a parkrun but due to health issues she is a slow walker and would take around 75 mins. It has taken her months of consistent training (both walking increasing distances and training twice a week with a Personal Trainer under physio supervision) to get to this point. At the moment she won’t do it because she is worried about keeping people waiting. I’ve suggested she volunteer as tail walker but she wants to be at least 10 mins faster. I think parkrun HQ would say she is exactly the sort of person they want to encourage, but local teams might have a different opinion of keeping volunteers out in the weather for so long. No easy answer though.
