I did Denmark and before France shutdown attended the same event 4 times as it was on my way


I’m similar - three parkruns in Ireland, all the same course. Yet to do a parkrun in England or Wales but have one each in Australia and USA because I had another reason to be there. The idea of taking a flight just for a parkrun when there are several I haven’t done in day trip distance seems very odd to me.

But I differ from you in that I do enjoy intentional parkrun tourism. Always within 90 minutes of home though, usually with a full car, and ration it to one a month because belonging to a home parkrun community is a huge part of the parkrun experience too.

Four of us touring to Stonehaven tomorrow (where I see mrs shanksi is on the roster) so that’s February’s awayday accounted for.

Today's run was 36 minutes pushing a buggy so happy with that.
