Hugs, Pix. The majority of women who are called back after a screening mammogram need no further action. And the majority of those who do are able to have curative treatment.

Well done Bof!
I was called in once after a boob squish. They stuck a needle in to get a biopsy and it disappeared, it turned out that it was a cyst so all okay.

Yeah my recall for the needle biopsy just showed it as a fatty lump. It has since gone. It is a worry at the time but fingers crossed x

On a more upbeat note than some of the ones above, after (a few weeks ago) a 'get ready for it' letter, then the actual box, I've now got a 'Your (bowel screening test) result showed that no further tests are needed at theis time' letter.
Although it takes great pains to point out that ... no screening test is comletely effective. Your result does not guarantee that you do not have bowel cancer ...
Although I think they have radically improved the process in the last few years? A lot easier 'collection' and postage, and I assume a virtually fully automated process. From posting to receipt of result only 5 days, 4 of which must be consumed by the post office / mail.
That's me done on this for the next 2 years.
