Fragile Do Not Bend
I don’t see why not. I’ve got my first one in a couple of weeks.

My test is done and received results very quickly, however after reading the good news letter there was a warning that I’m not guaranteed to be free of bowel cancer. Oh and the other test that my work likes to have us perform once a week was negative too. It seems like negative is the new positive nowadays 😀

Sherry’s going for her second mammogram post breast cancer treatment in a couple of weeks. She had always had regular mammograms and being diagnosed with breast cancer encouraged one of her friends who is well into her sixties to go and have her first mammogram.

I was due my first mammogram 12 months ago. No idea when it'll happen given the backlog.
I'm not unduly concerned for me but I've worked with 3 people over the years that have all had cancer picked up on their 1st one. Very concerning in general.

I had mine despite everything. I think it was because the unit is self-contained and not part of the main hospital.

There we were having a month's snooze and someone kicked the sofa.
Welcome back to the living everyone.
No mammogram or poo sticks for me but my wife has had two mammograms, uncomfortable but necessary.

Got an MRI tomorrow to have a look at my prostate as my PSA level was up. It might lead to a biopsy but trying not to get too concerned at this stage.

I was called a few months ago for a screening mammogram. I should probably arrange one, having missed the last two rounds because the appointments were at times that clashed with work and I couldn't get through to the department (I have personal reason to know that "I tried and tried for weeks and couldn't get through" = "I tried once, maybe twice, and couldn't be bothered waiting in a queue"). I'm inclined to be a little complacent because I have no family history of breast or other related cancers and once managed to find a 4mm breast cyst without looking for it.

Do you cycle a fair bit Phil? OH had some follow up to a slightly dodgy PSA result. All was well but he was told (possibly incorrectly, I don't know) that male cyclists were prone to have slightly higher PSA levels. Anyway, always worth getting it checked out.
