Ness May 2021 12:32pm, 29 May 2021 15,459 posts	0 Ness Just got home from my mammogram appointment. All done very efficiently in a mobile unit in the local co-op car park. My first mammogram had been in 2018 so I don’t think I was overdue for one.

Fragile Do Not Bend May 2021 2:08pm, 29 May 2021 8,469 posts	0 Fragile Do Not Bend Yay for the power of Fetch I guess there isn’t a much of a mammogram backlog here as I got my letter six weeks or so after my birthday and there was only a month’s wait for an appointment.

I am assuming I haven't got breast cancer as I am still alive and the pea disappeared on its own... All further screening was cancelled by the NHS because of CoVid and me having, according to them, less than 5 years life expectancy because I have the breast cancer gene 🙄

Ness May 2021 4:23pm, 29 May 2021 15,461 posts	0 Ness That's a long time to wait, Hanneke. At least you can be confident in your own ability to pick up anything by self checking. I think I would be able to spot something in myself too. Glad that the screening programmes are starting again though.
