We will struggle when we retire but I know it will have to happen at some point. I’d love to be able to do so whilst young enough to enjoy it but really can’t see it happening.

Nick so sorry about your news about Jan. Make the most of the time you have left. I'm sure you will.

I'm another unless a big financial win I'll be at work for many years to come.

Also hated school think I was too quiet. Also hated p.e. though I did have a passing interest in this running lark.

Well I'm 66 and although I've taken my state pension I have to work too. Not as much as I did (forty years plus non stop was quite enough) but neither Raffo nor I do the sortof work that pays well - or pensions well.

I'm freelance so am very grateful when something comes my way.

I to would like to add my sympathy to you and your wife Nick. Situations such as these really do focus the mind on what is important. I hope the two of you manage to live out the coming months in the best way ways possible.

Realising what Teebee is referring to I can only echo her well chosen words.

I've been wondering what to say without saying something flippant, but TeeBee has put it perfectly Nick. I wish the very best to you both.

Yes, TeeBee has also said what I wanted to say far more eloquently than I could. My deepest sympathies, Nick x

Nicely put Linds.

I’ve just ranted on Smell. I feel fine, happy fit and healthy. My Apple Watch however tells me I am a stroke waiting to happen - or at least told me I have atrial fibrillation which amounts to the same thing. This has caused me a level of anxiety, not unsurprisingly.
