Fried posh bread in olive oil is not bad at all. I see these modern wanker chefs 'toasting' bread on gridle pan, that fat lump from Yorkshire does it, Martin, the tosser. NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING is too good to fry.
Velociraptor May 2019 9:10am, 10 May 2019 41,577 posts	0 Velociraptor With bacon nowadays being mostly made of salty water, I doubt that frying a couple of rashers of bacon gives you enough bacon fat to do more than wipe the bread's arse lightly, like quimby described a few pages back, unless you add a load of extra fat to the pan.
