I had one planned for this afternoon but my swim buddy decided (correctly) to stay at home as he was in the inland bit of East Devon which was hit by nasty snow showers and the roads were dicey. Had I ventured to the beach by myself, OH reported from his dog walk along the beach, I would have found two women in Santa hats singing as they dipped, and another 'serious' swimmer doing proper ftont crawl swimming.

Fa-la-la-zyDaisy Dec 2022 3:33pm, 16 Dec 2022 37,415 posts	0 Fa-la-la-zyDaisy Just had an email from the Lido management cancelling tomorrow's swim session - 'We cannot break all of the ice, and as fast we break some of it, it's freezing over again' I think I might have balked at the sight of ice floating on the surface so I'm not totally gutted
