Looking forward to the men's 100m tonight. Wonder if The Flying Mullet can bag a medal?

Lizzie Bird qualifies for the 3000m Steeplechase by 6 thousandths of a second! Perfect dip on the line snuck her ahead of two others into 4th with only 5 to qualify.

Wow great result.

Top tip for women coming to watch if Lille is anything to go by: you will queuing at security longer as there are less women doing pat downs.

Water and food were fine to come in. Water stations inside and outside the venue.

It's almost like they can only do it to tragic music. 😂

The 2nd hockey mens QF (following the GB exit to India) between Belgium (world #1) and Spain (#8) was an absolutely cracking game.

Some unreal quality of hockey times

So much better to watch than football...

They've stopped showing the tennis final! Is there another way of watching it?

Pay Discovery £3.99 ?
Or wait for BBC to come back to it.
I don't know of other options.

They did that with the hockey pool games, so I ended up being forced to pay for the discovery+ coverage

About This Thread

Maintained by Curly45
Couldn't find a thread so thought I would start one.

Who else is off to watch or who is watching at home?

We're doing Lille and Paris and a mix of sports. Currently trying to find travel insurance that includes ticket cancellation as some of the trains in the UK might be difficult and we have some internal French trains to do as well.

Also need to work out the new Paris metro ticket/app combo (Navigo I think).
